About
Travel-Diaries.com is an effort to build a better travel resource by sharing the real-life experiences of travelers from all over the world.
The idea came to me after getting some very positive feedback on a series of letters and emails I had posted to one of my websites, buy-cycle.net. The letters were from some dear friends who were spending two years in Zambia as Peace Corps volunteers.
People seemed to love reading the stories of day-to-day life and everything in between. Some enjoyed the letters for their own sake and others were preparing for their own trips to Africa, and found the letters invaluable. The seed was planted to build a site where others could share their adventures.
It was several years before I found the time to pursue my dream. I thankfully married a wonderful woman, partner and friend during that time, who shares my passion for travel. Together we're finally making Travel-Diaries.com a reality.
