Kayaking Fern Ridge - Tuesday, October 5, 2004
We took our new Perception Carolina II out on Fern Ridge this weekend. It was our second outing, the last being Waldo Lake.Fern Ridge doesn't compare to Waldo by any stretch, but it gave us a chance to do some hard paddling and negotiate some good sized boat wakes.
One nice steap one, easily four feet and close to cresting put a nice puddle in Lindsey's compartment and highlighted a major leak into the front dry storage compartment, but REI
