Flight Confirmed! - Friday, May 19, 2006
Managed to access the Emirates flight information online this afternoon after getting the right code from WebJet. I'm now happy that the flights are confirmed and feel much more at ease knowing that I won't be turned away at the check-in desk!
I just remembered that I have to get my new jacket altered before I go as the sleeves are too long. I'll do that tomorrow or Monday.
I'm still debating what the best travelling clothes will be. I want to be comfortable but I don't want to be a slob. And I don't want to arrive in London looking like I've slept in my clothes (even though I will have!)
Money seems to be running through my fingers like water. This was supposed to be the holiday I wouldn't have to worry at all about money but since I've given up work there's no more coming in for at least another 6 weeks and Alex's car has needed 4 new tyres, so another unexpected expense. I hate having to budget and if I'm not careful the credit card will be maxed out by the time I get back.
Still, I'll try to have a good time and let tomorrow take care of itself.
