Quickie from Kitwe - Monday, June 11, 2001

Hey all our dear and not so nears,
We are having "the time of our lives"!!! This is a quickie, since we are in an internet cafe in Kitwe today (which costs 10,000 kwacha per hour) a far cry from the free e-mail at our beloved City Library. Anyway, "a week a way is a world away" is the best way to describe it all. Our fellow trainees... one word... FABULOUS!!! Our intestinal disputes... lots of words but I won't bore you... Stay tuned in the snail mail, two letters should be arriving -- Oh-- in the next year??? Sooon??? WE LOVE WE LOVE WE LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!! We are truly having a grand time and learning Chitonga (while making fools of ourselves with our host family who is most gracious and welcoming to us dumb Amelikans). Amelikan is not spelled wrong by the way. Ok, Rat says I have to stop.... We send all our love (except the love that goes to the baby chicken we hold every morning). Love, Jena and Rat
