March Madness in Sin City - Friday, April 1, 2005
The morning of march 17th at 8:10am my brother, his friend, and I board a plane and set sail for Las Vegas. What better place to spend the weekend gambling , drinking , watching basketball, and having fun with friends.
The 17th of march marks the day that many if not all college basketball fans look forward to, the starting of the NCAA tournament.
We met up with my friends that made their way by car just about the same time we arrived. We stayed at the Boardwalk casino, its not a bad place , the best thing about it is that it is pretty much centered in the middle of the strip.
I spent alot of my time walking through the casinos and admiring how different and beautiful they were. i also spent alot of my time at the sports book in the Bellagio hotel. The Bellagio's sport book had leather recliners and chair stools and couches to relax on and watch the games, about 10 -12 jumbo screen , plenty of tv's and all the free beer you could handle.
The best thing about my trip to vegas was i won $84.000 dollars in a poker tournament that i entered. I came in 2nd place out of 300 people........ 'not , april fools.
All in all it was a trip to remeber.
